Genre: Electric Memphis Blues
The later, post-World War II version of Electric Memphis Blues featured explosive, distorted electric guitar work, thunderous drumming, and fierce, declamatory vocals. This wonderfully animated music was largely captured for posterity by Sam Phillips at the Memphis Recording Service studio, later issuing much of it on his Sun Records label.
