Albums in Trance And Goa

Description

Initially a closely related offshoot of house music, trance music has become an entity all unto itself and is one of the most popular styles of electronic dance music all over the world. Trance is more melodic, catchy and less repetitive than most dance music, and, except for occasional vocals, this music is almost exclusively produced with electronic instruments such as synthesizers, samplers and drum machines. Offshoot genres like psychedelic and Goa trance were popular during the mid and late '90s, but these days most trance tunes have a decidedly European flavor. Many of today's biggest trance producers like DJ Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and DJ Sammy are from Northern Europe or Italy, although English DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold may be the most popular trance artist of all.
