DJ Crate Tutorial
Adding items
You might think of DJ crates like shopping carts on other
websites, except you can have as many as you wish!
Adding items your current
crate is as simple as clicking a button, and when you do, you'll be able to
see the selected item appear in your crate, as well as contribute to
its total playing time. We highly recommend that you keep JavaScript enabled
on your browser when performing crate operations; it's a much faster process
that way.

Adding an album
Adding an album...
Notice that you can add songs, albums, and even entire
artists and BlueBeat programs. When you add an album or a
compilation thereof, the individual songs appear in your crate. Then, if
you wish to exclude certain tracks later, you'll be able to remove them quickly
and easily.
When you add artists and BlueBeat programs, on the other hand,
you're adding Live Collections – groups of music (such as the albums
authored by an artist) that are updated automatically when the BlueBeat
music vault is updated. For example, if you include "The Beatles" in
your crate, and next week we add their latest anthology to our record
collection, the anthology will instantly appear in that crate without
any work required from you.
If you do not wish your crate live-updated, add the
contents of the Live Collections instead of the Live
Collection itself. This can be immensely useful if you're a fan of, say,
classic Eric Clapton. In general, you can always visit our artist, TM
program, or Killer Playlist pages, then specify only the albums and songs
you want.
