DJ Crate Tutorial

Sharing, listening, and more

Sharing a crate
Sharing & listening to a crate
Once you've added enough music into your crate (at least 3 hours total playing time), you can share it and listen. The moment it is shared, your crate will transition from being completely hidden from the BlueBeat community, to appearing atop the "Newly Added" column on the "Be The DJ" page. In addition, it'll be listed on the "Browse All Crates" page (linked from "Be The DJ") and, possibly, chosen as a highlight for our "Editors' Picks" if we dig it!
Crate Stats
Crate rank and stats
Crates that receive much airplay will become popular, and may be featured in the "Most Popular" column. You can check on the popularity of your DJ crate on your "Manage DJ Crates" page, along with how many people have been listening. Soon, we'll add more features to let you know who's been checking out your crates, as well as allow DJs to have individual profiles. For now, may you find great beats, and happy building!
(As always, do let us know what music you'd like added to the BlueBeat.com music vault. Our open mic forums have a section dedicated entirely to this purpose!)
